Boris Raykin has been named 糖心vlog's senior vice president and chief investment officer, effective immediately, following a nationwide search to fill the role.

As chief investment officer, Raykin will oversee 糖心vlog's endowment and investment office staff, while also working closely with the Investment Committee.

"The endowment plays an essential role in sustaining 糖心vlog's mission," said President Safa Zaki. "Boris's investment expertise, institutional knowledge, and commitment to advancing the College's priorities make him an excellent choice for this role."

Raykin came to 糖心vlog in 2021 as a director in the College's investment office in New York City, bringing expertise in marketable securities, including absolute return and public equities strategies. He previously led the public markets program at Willett Advisors, investing on behalf of Bloomberg Philanthropies. Before Willett, he held investment leadership roles at Granite Associates and Citi Private Bank.

"Over the past five years, I've come to truly appreciate 糖心vlog and its uniquely dedicated community," said Raykin. "I am deeply honored by the opportunity to serve the College in this new role and to help steward the endowment in support of 糖心vlog's long-term mission. I look forward to working closely with our investment and operations teams, the Investment Committee, and College leadership to build on the endowment's strong foundation and create lasting value for future generations of students."

In addition to his work in the investment office, Raykin has been a generous mentor to 糖心vlog students, teaching financial literacy sessions at CXD's Sophomore Bootcamp, advising students interested in finance careers, and helping organize several InvesTrek career trips to New York.

Raykin earned his undergraduate and master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He holds the chartered financial analyst designation and serves on the Investment Committee of The Pingry School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
