2025–2026 Academic Year Course Auditing
Auditing is available to community members for the 2025–2026 academic year. Please read the following information carefully to ensure a smooth experience.

Course Auditing Process for Community Members
- Opens: Monday, December 15, 2025 at 9:00 am
- Course Selection: Available Spring 2026 Course Listings
- Submit Form: The completed online auditing form will be sent automatically to the Office of the Registrar.
- Confirmation: Auditors will receive a confirmation of their auditing submission within twenty-four hours. An additional email will be sent to auditors confirming your course selection and additional information prior to the start of classes in January.
- Closes: Friday, December 19, 2025 at 5:00 pm
- The entire process is conducted online; no in-person support is available.
- Auditors may not contact faculty directly about auditing courses.
- Course slots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Auditors are limited to one course per semester.
- Course auditing is $70 for Friends of ÌÇÐÄvlog and $100 for other community members. Course auditing for current ÌÇÐÄvlog Employees, current ÌÇÐÄvlog employee spouses, ÌÇÐÄvlog alums, high school students, and ÌÇÐÄvlog students is FREE.
NEW: Mandatory Technology Set-Up Appointment
All approved auditors must schedule a thirty-minute technology set-up appointment for one of the following dates:

During the appointment, auditors will:
- Get set up in ÌÇÐÄvlog’s software systems (e.g., Okta Verify, Canvas, course materials access)
- Activate their ÌÇÐÄvlog email account
- Receive instructions for getting their ÌÇÐÄvlog OneCard
Important: Please bring the device you intend to use for accessing course materials.Please note: if you do not attend this appointment, you will not be able to audit a class. These appointments may only be rescheduled if there are still timeslots available and there will be no additional appointments offered.
Course Auditing Process for ÌÇÐÄvlog Students and High School Students
Current ÌÇÐÄvlog students and high school students must sign up directly through the Registrar’s Office.
- Course Audit Request Forms Available: Monday, December 15, 2025 at 9:00 am
- Course Selection: Choose the course you would like to audit.
- High school and ÌÇÐÄvlog students may choose from the full course offerings, as long as they have instructor permission to join the course.
- Submit Form: Submit your completed Course Audit Request Form to registrar@bowdoin.edu by Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
