Course Credit
Chamber Choir is graded on a Credit/D/Fail basis and is taken for one-half credit per semester. Two semesters of an auditioned ensemble will fulfill the VPA (Visual and Performing Arts) distribution requirement. All singers must be enrolled in order to participate.
Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester.
The audition process consists of vocalizing to determine range and voice part, echoing patterns, singing a prepared (unaccompanied) solo, and learning a short segment of a choral work. After accepting the invitation to participate in the ensemble, students will be automatically added through Workday. Please reach out to Dr. Kari Francis (k.francis@bowdoin.edu) with any questions.
