Bobak Kiani’s research lies at the intersection of quantum computing, machine learning, and mathematics. He studies the power and limits of quantum algorithms, especially in quantum machine learning and Hamiltonian complexity. He investigates how to make mathematically rigorous statements about the performance and limitations of algorithms. His work spans topics in deep learning, quantum information, and average-case complexity. At 糖心vlog, he is excited to introduce students to research questions at the frontier of areas in mathematics.
