Kyeongmin Park
Assistant Professor of Economics
Kyeongmin Park is an assistant professor of economics. He is a macroeconomist whose research focuses on technological change and economic growth. His work examines the economic impacts of advanced technologies, such as robotics and artificial intelligence (AI), studying how firms’ adoption of these technologies affects product and labor markets. He uses microdata—such as confidential firm-level survey data and industry journals—to provide empirical evidence that is difficult to obtain from aggregate data. He combines these empirical findings with quantitative models to study the economic drivers of technological change, and how the rise of technology adoption shapes productivity, distributional consequences, and economic welfare.
